Campbell County Public Safety
The Campbell County Department of Public Safety protects and serves the citizens of Campbell County with comprehensive emergency planning, mitigation, response and recovery services.
The department provides central communications services (dispatch) for law enforcement, fire and EMS, along with an accredited emergency medical dispatching program. The department provides animal control services for the citizens of the county as well as supports the rescue squads and fire departments of Campbell County with logistical, training, and coordination activities as well as maintaining a full time Fire Marshal, and career EMS system.
We are very pleased to announce the first edition of Campbell County Public Safety’s Newsletter! A lot of time, effort and hard work were put into this publication and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all parties involved. The goal of this Newsletter is to increase communication between Fire, EMS, E-911, Animal Control, Emergency & all county staff, highlight the dedication of our volunteers as well as career staff, bring forth up to date statistics regarding emergency response & share important information on training, classes, events & safety information. Please take the time to read & enjoy our efforts to achieve the goals discussed above, with this edition of the Campbell County Public Safety Newsletter. Our Newsletters will be published quarterly and the second edition is expected to be out Oct. 1, 2010.
