Public Safety Committee

Public Safety issues and efforts in Campbell County are coordinated through the Campbell County Public Safety Committee. This committee has representatives from the Campbell County Board of Supervisors, Campbell County Administration, Campbell County Department of Public Safety, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, and the Campbell County Fire and Rescue Commissions.

Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee (EMSAC)

The Campbell County Department of Public Safety EMS division coordinates the EMS revenue recovery program and career EMS service in consultation with the members of the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee (EMSAC). The members of the EMSAC include Captains from each of the rescue squads, Campbell County Board of Supervisor representatives, County Administrator, the Campbell County Director of Public Safety and the Campbell County EMS Program Manager.

Fire Advisory Committee (FAC)

The Fire Advisory Committee (FAC) collaborates with the Director to provide effective fire service within the county.  FAC is comprised of fire chiefs from each of the volunteer agencies, Public Safety Director, Fire Marshal, 2 citizens representatives, County Administrator, and 2 Board of Supervisors members. 

Campbell County Rescue Commission

The rescue squads of Campbell County belong to a unified, collaborative group known as the Campbell County Rescue Commission. The commission is chaired by the Campbell County Rescue Commissioner, Mr. Bruce Stratton. 

Campbell County Fire Commission

The fire departments of Campbell County belong to a unified, collaborative group, similar to the Campbell County Rescue Commission, known as the Campbell County Fire Commission.
