The Campbell County Department of Public Safety, EMS Division is seeking a motivated, customer service oriented and skilled Emergency Medical Service provider.  Applicants must have current Virginia EMS certification at the level of EMT Basic or higher, NIMS IS-700 and NIMS IS-100 certification along with current EVOC and CPR certifications. In addition, candidates must be certified as a Virginia Firefighter 1 or higher. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, DMV record check, and criminal history background check.  Preference may be given to applicants certified at the level of EMT-Intermediate or higher and/or at the Firefighter 2 level.

Starting Salary Range: $30,975 to $34,515 depending on qualifications and experience.          

The position will be assigned to a 24 hour shift and may also earn an additional 7% to 8% in scheduled overtime.

The Campbell County Department of Management Services is seeking a motivated and forward thinking Finance/Budget Analyst. The ideal candidate should possess good oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, preparing monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations, reviews and processes requests for appropriations of funds, assists with annual audit and year end accounting, assists with Accounts Payable and performs vendor registration/maintenance, and assists with Payroll as needed. This position also provides accounting assistance and routine general budget maintenance for other departments as required and provides guidance on routine financial matters to department heads.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, three (3) years of related experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience. Must be bondable; CPA certification preferred.

Salary Range: $30,975-$34,515 depending on qualifications and experience.
