Community Involvement

In 2010, Campbell County employees again participated in the United Way of Central Virginia's annual Day of Caring.

Day of Caring provides an opportunity for employees to help others through hands-on experience and see where their donations go and how agency programs are affecting people’s lives. 

This year’s project was to build a handicap ramp for Luddie and Dossie Adams of Gladys, Virginia. Dossie suffered a massive stroke more than a year ago and has been in a nursing home ever since. His family wants to bring him home but they need to make some modifications in order to make the home accessible by wheelchairs.
